The Diploma in Management (L4Dip.Man) (Bachelor Year 1) (IQF-Formative Theory) equips the BBA/MBA candidate with a generic theoretical foundation in Business Management at Bachelor 1st Year Level and is credit-bearing towards the EDUVISA BBA-Hons/MBA/M.Sc. Degree Programme to be completed at a UK or international Partner University of choice (See University Progression).
It follows a UK-Ofqual regulated Bachelor of Business curriculum meeting the regulatory requirements associated with the British Ofqual Qualification Framework and British University System. The curriculum is composed of prescribed modules (core units) which are supported by interactive video material, online study resources and formative module tests and summative assignment assessments. The programme is supervised by senior online lecturers and academic tutors guided by the EDUVISA Virtual University System (EVUS).
The Diploma of Business Management (L4Dip.Man) is delivered via the EduNet Online Learner Management System (LMS) or EduVisa Virtual University System (EVUS) depending on the geographical region the student may occupy. This enables students in both rural and urban areas to study while still fulfilling their personal and employment responsibilities. The qualification prepares learners for a range of careers but mainly serves as a theoretical foundation on which further studies can be based and as such is an escalating step toward obtaining a Bachelor's (BBA-Hons) or Master's of Business Administration (MBA) Degree at a British or alternative university of choice.
An online Module Assessment must be completed to verify that the candidate has studied and mastered the subject content to a satisfactory level in line with curriculum requirements. Candidates are required to obtain a mark of at least 50% per Module assessment during the IQF-Theory Foundation phase in order to proceed to the next module or an average of 50% to progress to the next academic level.
The registration requirement for the Diploma in Management (L4Dip.Man) (IQF-Formative Theory & Online Assessment) is successful completion of the Diploma in Higher Education Access (L3Dip.HEA) (University Entry) which can be completed via online/blended learning or at a GAP-Year campus.
Candidates who have completed the Diploma in Management (L4Dip.Man) (IQF-Formative Theory) curriculum component may register for the Diploma in Management (L4Dip.Man) (RQF-Moderated Theory) as part of the Bachelor in Business 1st Year curriculum or alternatively register directly for a Higher Diploma in Management (L5HDip.Man) (IQF) as part of the integrated Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree Programme.
