The EDUVISA Level 3 Diploma in Higher Education Access (L3Dip.HEA) opens the door to study online (EDUVISA Virtual University System) towards a Bachelor's (BBA-Hons) or Master's (MBA) Degree in Management that will be awarded by a UK university of choice. It forms part of and is credit-bearing towards the 1st Year of a Bachelor in Business (L4Dip.Man).

ORIENTATION

The Diploma in Higher Education Access (Dip.HEA) (IQF-L3) enables students who have not been able to obtain admittance to a residential university, the opportunity to proceed towards registration for a Bachelor/MBA Degree Programme (UK-Ofqual & UK-University System) by completing a Level 3 Diploma in Higher Education Access (L3Dip.HEA) over a period of 14 days.

*The Dip.HEA incorporates the FDip.Skill and EDip.Skill applicable to students attending the GAP Year Programmes in Southern Africa.

 

DURATION

The Diploma in Higher Education Access (Dip.HEA) (IQF-L3) can be completed in 2 to 6 months and consists of 12 Modules (Formative Assessment) as well as additional Modules (Informative Non-Assessed) that introduce the learner/student to the online study methodology as well as the foundational theoretical perspective that will allow him/her to seamless ease into online Business Management studies when joining the EDUVISA University Pathway. Learners/students who have successfully completed the Dip.HEA may register immediately for the Diploma in Management (Dip.Man) (Bachelor 1st Year) as part of the UK-Ofqual/Uniqual regulated university pathway towards a Bachelor (BBA, B.Sc. & BBA-Hons) or Master's (MBA) Degree. Students are required to complete the Diploma in Higher Education Access (Dip.HEA) within a period of 12 months following the date of registration.  

 

ACCREDITATION

This is an Uniqual (IQF) Level 3 Qualification and carries thirty credits. This qualification is an entry requirement toward the EDUVISA UK-University Pathway which may culminate in a BBA, B.Sc., or MBA Degree.

Using time effectively gives the person "choice" on spending or managing activities at their own time and expediency. Time management may be aided by a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects, and goals complying with a due date.

Administrative management refers to a process within an organisation whereby information is stored, analysed and distributed among its members to ensure smooth business operation. Additionally, it entails the control and coordination of certain business aspects and the people involved, allowing it to manage the support operations within an organisation.

(L3) (IQF) Module 3 - Customer Service Skills

Customer service skills are traits and practices that equip you to address customer needs and foster a positive experience. In general, customer service skills rely heavily on problem-solving and communication as part of the process of helping people find what they want during the entire transaction cycle.

(L3) (IQF) Module 4 - Facilitation Skills

Facilitation skills are the abilities you use to provide opportunities and resources to a group of people that enable them to make progress and succeed. Some examples include being prepared, setting guidelines, being flexible, active listening and managing time. Creating a comfortable environment through better facilitation will help you understand what a good facilitator can do to improve any meeting or gathering and put the theory into practice yourself.

Business Etiquette can be defined as a set of manners and behaviour that is generally regarded as acceptable or desirable in a professional business or corporate environment. The formation of long-term relationships in business is inter alia based on acceptable behaviour towards co-workers, clients, suppliers, and investors.

Bookkeeping is the recording of financial transactions and is part of the process of accounting in business.

Performance Management is not a company’s way of employing “micro-managing” techniques that stunt the professional growth of its employees. But rather, it is a strategic approach to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization.

(L3) (IQF) Module 9 - Sales Skills

Sales Skills focus on the ability to present and project service or product in such a way that potential clients will become convinced of the benefits associated with the service or product to the extent that they desire to proceed with the purchase process. This course will provide students with insight into the sales process, sales tools and how the salesperson can seal the deal no matter what the size or nature of the sale.

This module is intended to empower managers to understand how much of their role is really about their people, as well as aspects of legislation, policy, and procedures that involve human resourcing issues.

(L3) (IQF) Module 11 - Life Skills & Management Foundation Course

Life-Skills and Management Foundation Course will introduce the student to “skills" relevant to self-management at a personal level as well as management "as an academic subject” in preparation for university studies towards a Bachelor (BBA) Degree and Master’s (MBA) Degree in Management via the EDUVISA UK-University Programme.

(L3) (IQF) Module 12 - Dissertation & Research Methodology

The Module Course in Dissertation and Research Methodology prepares the student for the Moderated Assignment Assessment Phase as well as for the Dissertation Phase at BBA (L5+) (RQF) or MBA-Top-Up (L7+) (RQF). The course forms part of the Dip.HEA which is an entree requirement towards registration for a UK-University-level (Bachelor & Master's Degree) via EDUVISA.
