PAYMENT SOLUTIONS (SA RAND CURRENCY)

• EDUVISA has established an international online academic footprint and makes provision for academic, administrative and payment support unique to various regions or countries in the world. PayPal  is used in many countries and is a safe and secure payment gateway that accommodates the GBP (£) and most other major currencies via Debit/Credit Card transactions. 

• Students/parents from Southern Africa or Sub-Sahara Africa that use the South African Rand or South African banking system may utilise the PayFast Payment Gateway for EFT, Internet Banking, SWIFT, Debit/Credit/Cheque Card and Cash Deposit transactions (Checkers, Shoprite, OK, Post Office and House & Home, Mukuru Cash, ABSA, Capitec, First National Bank, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Investec, African Bank, Tyme Bank etc.).

• Students/parents may also make use of the MobiCred Revolving Academic Loan (Register your MobiCred Academic Loan Facility before continuing with the payment process via the PayFast Payment Gateway). The secure PayFast Payment Gateway will require verification of the financial transaction by the student via SMS/OTP/Email during the payment process. Students should ensure that they have their cellphones/mobiles available to respond to the security code that the bank may SMS/Email during the payment process.

Alternatively, students may also make payments to the dedicated EDUVISA Bank Account. 

*Students registering for the first time should ensure that the Online Student Application has been completed in combination with the payment process.

  REVOLVING STUDENT LOAN (SA)

South African students/parents can apply for a Revolving Student Loan Facility (MobiCred) that accommodates the payment of study fees over a 12-month period. This facility is available for the duration of the student's studies and can automatically be re-used on an annual basis till the level of a Bachelor's (BBA, BA & B.Sc.) or Master's (MBA) Degree. The facility is available on the PayFast  Payment Gateway and parents/students are advised to apply online via the following link before proceeding with the PayFast payment process, during which the MobiCred approval code will be requested. 

USING THE PAYFAST  PAYMENT GATEWAY 

After completion of the payment transaction, a confirmation Email/SMS will be generated, and the payer will be redirected to the EduVisa Payment Confirmation Page. Please continue to check your email address for notification of payment verification, user account activation and confirmation of enrolment.  

An EduVisa Invoice (PDF) can be downloaded from the User Account Portal after the completion of a successful payment. Please note that the payment process via the PayFast  Payment Gateway may take 3 to 5 days to reflect in the EduVisa Bank Account. Students who wish to accelerate the payment verification and registration process may utilise any of the EduVisa Bank Accounts for EFT or direct deposit purposes.
