Orientation

The Integrated Higher Diploma in Management (iHDip.Man) (Ofqual) combines a L4 Diploma in Management (LDip.Man) (Bachelor 1st Year Equivalency) with a L5 Higher Diploma in Management (Bachelor 2nd Year Equivalency) of the fast-track Integrated Bachelor's in Business Management (iBBA) and the Integrated Master's of Business Administration (iMBA) Degree Programmes which is completed via the EduVisa University College Online Business School (OBS). The Integrated Higher Diploma in Management (iHDip.Man) qualifies for the EduVisa Regional Scholarship Discount of 25% as well as the EduVisa Monthly Subscription-based Payment Option (See Payment Options).

Qualification Outcome

The Integrated Higher Diploma in Management (iHDip.Man) forms part of the Integrated Bachelor's in Business Administration (iBBA) as well as the Master's of Business Administration (iMBA) Degree Programme which are both based on a generic, fast-track, dual-qualification Business Curriculum approved by Ofqual for progression purposes to Bachelor and Master's level.Combined with the Regional Scholarship Discount Programme the student is able to register for a fast-track, cost-saving Bachelor's in Business Administration or alternatively Master's of Business Administration (MBA) Degree programme. In addition, the student will benefit from the concept of progression certification which awards the student with a L4 Diploma, L5 Higher Diploma, L6 Graduate Diploma and L7 Post-Graduate Diploma (accredited on the UK-Ofqual Qualification Framework) while studying towards the BBA-Hons or MBA Degree:

Bachelor-Hons (iBBA) and Master's (iMBA) Degree Explained

The Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA-Hons)  as well as Master's of Business Administration (iMBA) are based on and validated by the UK-Ofqual Qualification Framework and offered as a collaborative programme by EduVisa University College via the Centre for Accelerated MBA Studies and the EduVisa-linked Ofqual-accredited Online Business School (OBS) in collaboration with the Arden School of Leadership and Management. Both the Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA-Hons) and the Master's of Business Administration (MBA) Degree is awarded and accredited by Arden University (UK) and is supplemented by a L5 Higher Diploma (RQF) (Ofqual) and L7 Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (RQF) (Ofqual) linked to professional membership status of various UK Royal/Chartered Institutes/Associations.

The student registers and is invoiced for the Integrated Higher Diploma (iHDip.Man) on date of registration with payments to be completed over a period not exceeding 6 months.  

 

Assessment 

The iMBA Degree Programme is based on a combination of short Module Tests (IQF-Formative Assessment) and Module Assignments (RQF-Ofqual Summative Assessment) designed to help you apply your learning to real-word scenarios. This includes assessment methods such as individual reports, case study analyses, group presentations, and personal independent assignments devised in consultation with your course module leader.  Students thus complete both a Formative Assessment (IQF-UniQual) (Module Tests) followed by a Summative Assessment (RQF-Module Assignments) that will be externally moderated by the UK Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) which regulates qualification, examinations and assessments in England.

A big part of your online MBA (Top-Up) work will be the opportunity to create and take ownership of a detailed piece of research relating to a management issue. To back your development, Arden will provide you with academic support to make sure you have the skills and resources you need to successfully complete the assessments. Your tutor will also be able to give you suggestions and tips for improvement - and help you learn how to apply your newly-acquired skills to real life settings. A variety of methods are used to assess your progress, allowing you to demonstrate your strengths as you study.

Eligibility & RPLE 

To be eligible for registration for the Higher Diploma in Management (L5HDip.Man) students are required to have completed the following programme:  

  • A Diploma in Business Management (L4HDip) (IQF/RQF-Ofqual) or Bachelor 1st Year, provided that your prior learning is consistent with the Level 4 Curriculum requirements (Ofqual) of the functional areas of Business such as Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, etc. 
  • Do you have work experience? We’re happy to consider an application from you if you can show us that you have the motivation and at least two years of work relevant experience to study this degree (See the EduVisa RPLE Policy)

 

Duration (Optimal Scenario)

This programmr can be completed within a period of 8 - 12 months based on the EduVisa University College Trimester System.   

 

Progression to BBA-Hons or MBA Degree

After completion of the L4 Diploma in Management (Bachelor 1 Equivalency) and L5 Higher Diploma in Management (Bachelor 2 Equivalency) via the EduVisa Online Business School (OBS) the student may complete the Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA-Hons) Degree via EduVisa/Arden University.

Alternatively completion of the L4 Diploma in Management (Bachelor 1 Equivalency) and L5 Higher Diploma in Management (Bachelor 2 Equivalency) via the EduVisa Online Business School (OBS) may be followed by a L7 Graduate Diploma followed by a L7 Post-Graduate Diploma plus MBA Capstone/Thesis after which the  student will be awarded a MBA Degree  (EduVisa/Arden) as well as L7 Post-Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management (UK-Ofqual) with Royal/Chartered professional accreditation in the United Kingdom.
